Govt adamant it won't take action to drive up costs at fuel pumps

Minister of Economic Affairs Michael Halkitis said yesterday the government is still in discussion with petroleum retailers over their desire to have the margin on fuel sales increased, but Halkitis reiterated that an increase in the margin for retailers is off the table if it would lead to an increase in the price at the pump.
